Welcome to Talley Ho Inn, Townsend's oldest, beloved motel located 1 mile from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Who We Are

Located one mile from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Talley Ho Inn is the oldest continually operated motel in Townsend. Victor Talley and his wife Helen began renting the original eight units in 1953, while Victor worked at Aluminum Company of America in nearby Alcoa. Today the inn is operated by the third generation of the Talley family.

Private balconies or terraces compliment the deluxe queen or king units as well as the premier rooms with Jacuzzis and fireplaces. The spacious grounds can be enjoyed by children and adults for play and relaxation. For larger groups, the Talley Ho has cottages to accommodate up to fourteen people with complete kitchen convenience. A conference room with kitchen and woodburning fireplace serves up to fifty people and is perfect for meetings and receptions. A restaurant adjoins the Talley Ho property for convenient dining.
